Solon Quinn, adopted from South Korea and raised in Syracuse, New York, uses his talent in filmmaking and photography to highlight critical social issues such as domestic violence, human trafficking, and the integration of new Americans. Believing in the power of visual media to initiate conversation and understanding, his work thoughtfully addresses human rights and gender equality, aiming to connect people on a deeper level. Holding a BS in directing from the School of Visual Arts, Solon also dedicates time to work with non-profits, helping to advance their causes through his art and efforts to encourage community engagement and awareness.
